A SoCal Fall
Though I am based out of Sacramento, this year I am spending a large part of the Fall in Southern California working on a personal project. This project will occupy my days from morning to mid-afternoon, but leave me available to photograph in the evenings. In the past I have flown down for a day at a time to photograph a highschool or college match and then flown home directly after. I have always been happy to do this, but the distance obviously made the prospect of me photographing for families who know me from club volleyball more expensive.
Because I will be based in Southern California this Fall, I thought it would be great to open up the opportunity for interested families to have me photograph for them without all of that additional expense!
I will be staying in the approximate area of Loz Feliz - not at all far from Interstate 5 and would be happy to travel up to 1 1/2 - 2 hours each way by car to photograph. That leaves a pretty wide reach!
How it works.
I am offering full team and exclusive individual coverages. You can sign up right here on the website.
If you purchase a Digital Only coverage, a few days after the match, I will have the image online for you to download — it's that simple!
If you sign up for a coverage that includes a collage, a few days after the match, I will put the images online for download as well as a PDF with some ideas for collages that I think would work well. You are free to choose one of those collages, or to ask for changes to them. Once we've established the design you like, I'll retouch the images, prepare the collage and have it printed and shipped to you.
About the Coverages.
Our College and High School coverages are each pre-purchased packages.
Each package include an extensive coverage (a full match which typically results in 400-500 images of the team as a whole), as well as all digital images from the coverage in a resolution suitable for printing quality 4x6 and 5x7 prints.
Prices for a Team or Exclusive Individual Full Match coverage, start at $495.
Coverage Lengths.
The coverages we are offering are much longer than we can typically offer in a club tournament setting — a full match (whether that is 2, 3 or 5 sets). This ensures we have the best chance of getting you great images! Additionally, each coverage includes the ability to download all of the digital files in a resolution which is suitable for printing 4x6/5x7 prints.
We think the best way for you to see what you could expect from a coverage is to share some of them with you. We've prepared four examples coverages — each one of them is one match (two sets). This is the smallest coverage we are offering the the Junior National Championships.
Typically speaking, a one match coverage will result in 400 or more images. The final number of images in the coverages depends heavily on the sort of action during the match.
Example Coverages ...
These example coverages are from recent tournaments. Each of these coverages is one match (two sets) in length. You will see that not only are there an incredible number of images, but that during these coverages we are looking for not just action, but portraits, huddles, cheers — everything that is happening on the court and sidelines. For Team Coverages, we do our best to photograph everybody on the court, but we cannot guarantee everyone will be photographed — that depends very much on the action of the match, the rotation of the athletes, how engaged any particular athlete is, etc.

Please Note
We want to deliver the highest quality images possible — and we work very hard to do so! But we do want to make sure that you understand that we can only photograph what actually happens on the court. If your athlete is active and enthusiastic, the photos will show that. And likewise, if they are not, the photos will reflect that as well.
We cannot guarantee any particular type or number of photographs of an athlete. What we do guarantee is that we will work to get you the best images we can, regardless of what happens on the court. But it is certainly our goal to photograph as many athletes as possible! As long as your athlete is playing while we're there, we'll photograph her!

Team Digital Coverage
Digital File Package
This request is a general coverage of a team. We will photograph your team, following the action of the ball while keeping an eye out for your athlete.
There will be photos of the action in general, but we will also be positioning ourselves to get good photos of your athlete and watching for them throughout play.
Who it's Good For
This is a great request for capturing the team in general, including action, cheers, huddles, portraits and anything else happening on the court!

This coverage includes a one match coverage and all photos as unretouched, downloadable digital files in a resolution suitable for printing 4x6 and 5x7 prints.

If several families are interested in photography, it is very common for them to split the cost, rather purchasing separate coverages. This coverage is meant to be shared!
Individual Digital Coverage

This request is an exclusive coverage of an individual athlete. We will photograph your athlete, following her play on the court without regard to other action.

This request is for families interested in an exclusive, intensive coverage of their athlete.

Be Advised: Because of the sometimes extremely variable nature of an individual athlete's play schedule, rotation, etc. we can not guarantee image counts. We make it our mission to get a really thorough coverage of an athlete when a request of this type is purchased. These images will include action, portraits, interactions with the coach and other players, cheers — everything your athlete is doing on the court.
Exclusive Individual Coverage + Digital Files + Any Collage

This request is an exclusive coverage of an individual athlete. We will photograph your athlete, following her play on the court without regard to other action.
